Meditation

Breathe. Pause. Breathe.

Meditation is only possible if our Chitta (unconscious mind) is calm.

Our unconscious mind contains many memories, thoughts, suppressed emotions, and unfulfilled desires. When we sit for meditation, our conscious mind is entirely voluntary. However, the unconscious mind is still active, and we have all types of thoughts, sometimes a memory from our childhood or even worrying about something that may never happen.

You may find a moment of peace on a beach or in the mountains, but it will not last. We should begin using Mindfulness daily to calm and soothe ourselves.

Start by slowing down. Breathe. Pause. Breathe.

The Meditative attitude

A meditative attitude is more important than the technique and the process. And this can be attained when the mind does not focus on our daily anxieties and stress. It is impossible to erase them, but with Mindfulness, it is possible to not focus on them. Mindfulness teaches us to focus on our inner selves and witness our emotions.
